Buying from Kästle now means buying from a dealer too. Kästle US has connected its Shopify site to its dealer network through Quivers — orders on kastleusa.com now complete on-site, with fulfillment routed to a nearby dealer's shelf or picked up locally at a shop.
Kästle designs and manufactures high-performance skis across alpine, touring, and Nordic disciplines, along with other winter sports equipment. The brand's signature is a blend most ski brands chase and few deliver: genuine racing heritage — Hollowtech tip construction, premium materials, race-proven engineering — paired with the kind of responsive, precise ride that holds up from the World Cup course to a Tuesday powder day.
That pedigree has always traveled well in Europe. The current chapter is about building the same presence in the US market — growing both the dealer network that gets skis onto shop floors and the online presence that gets Kästle in front of the skiers looking for them.
A buyer who finds the ski they want on kastleusa.com can complete the purchase right there on Shopify — fulfilled from a nearby dealer's shelf, or picked up in person at a local shop. For the buyer, that means the ski they came for is available, however they want it. For Kästle, it means every visitor to the site has a path to buy, whether or not that specific pair is sitting in Kästle's own warehouse. For the dealer, it means a new order — one generated by Kästle's own marketing and site traffic, credited to that shop, not absorbed by it.
It's a working example of what a connected dealer network is supposed to do: grow the brand's reach and the dealer's business at the same time, off the same transaction. Kästle is already building on that foundation — rolling out dealer staff training and rewards to get shop teams speaking Kästle's language on the floor, with a connected B2B storefront next.
Steven Poulin, Kästle US's President, joined from Swix. Justin Heanue, Head of Sales, joined from Blizzard-Technica. Both brought a channel-first instinct to how they wanted this to work.
Justin Heanue: "We’d seen this work before we ever got to Kästle, so there wasn’t much to debate. We wanted a Kästle buyer to always have a way to get the ski they want - whether that’s picking it up down the street or having it delivered from a dealer’s shelf. That’s better for the buyer, and it’s a new sale for the shop that fulfills it. "
